Thank you for the great video, I like the differentiation between coaching for performance and coaching for development. As a team coach, I think it's important to be clear about what you want to coach: performance or development

A great way to understand how to say Yes/No. My a-ha's are the VSPT: Vision, Strategy, Projects & Tasks and the 5 questions. And actions: instead of instantly saying Yes or No to things, I'm going to think through the process and apply this during decision-making. Thanks, Michael!

Great webinar, Michael! My takeaways are: To ask great questions, understanding the 3P models are important - Project, People & Pattern. And great and focused questions could be like - What's on your mind? And what else? What's the real challenge here for you? My actions are going to be: instead of assuming problems or solutions or anything at all, I'll allow myself to be more curious and ask these questions until the person says that there's nothing else to add. Thanks for it!!

Thanks Micheal! My 2 takeaways were: 1. No bobble-heading or murmuring (learn to shut up!) 2. No planning. The answer will come to me. My action is to get directly to the question and to stop the bobble-heading, in silence! I’m going to pass the video to my friend and colleague.

My biggest takeaways are creating more space (#3) and don’t stop at one answer (#5). Two actions to do this week: ask one question at a time and stop bobble head. Thank you!

What stuck with me was that the opening statement is rarely the real challenge. My action: Inquiry deeper on the opening statement until discovering the real challenge. Thank you!

Amazing webinar! I realized that I'm usually the one who cracks first when there's a huge silence, when silence is very powerful! So I'll let my coachees be the ones who crack first. 2: No intro or planning of my questions! Just be brave and throw the question. Action: Print the 5 disciplines and read them every morning before coaching.

    1. Shorten/simplify the question 2. Listening - stop planning response insight: hearing from a place of curiosity, keep digging action: shut up!
